So, for those of you who are newer to the scoped rifle game (any scoped rifle), here is a chance for you to learn from (some of) the best.
OSA Basic Scoped Rifle Clinic, June 2 - 3
-taught by the MilCun instructors
-the right scope, for the right rifle, for the right application
-mounting the scope, proper eye relief
-knowing your scope, elevation, windage and paralex knobs
-fitting the rifle to the shooter
-marksmanship principles
-use of bipod and rear sand bag
-minutes of angle
-grouping and zeroing drills
-checking your scopes adjustment
-all firing is prone at 100 m
You need to bring:
-eye and hearing protection
-one scoped rifle with bipod or rest
-200 rds ammo
-rear bunny / sand bag
-shooting mat / ground sheet
-applicable clothing for the elements
-bug spray and sun screen
-liquids, lunch and snacks
Clinic Fee $ 125. No meals, but I always bring my own cooler with my sandwiches. Minden is 12 kliks away. Tim's, Subway, Restaurants galore.
Our volunteer cater is unavailable, if someone can step up to fill the void please let us know.
