Just wanted to say I recently got an invite to the Oshawa Gun Club near Port Perry the other day. Fantastic facilities and fantastic people all around. Can't wait to go back. I wish there were more places like that around Ontario. Keep up the good work.

Good to hear that you enjoyed Oshawa's sporting clays, I have yet to try it.
I belong to the Sydenham Sportsmen Association just south of Owen Sound Ontario, they have a great all new 10 station Hunters clay course.
It has all new automatic traps and very accessible 100 bird course. Ammo on site, both ammo and shooting well priced.
Now the bad part, course is now closed for the winter season. Check out the web site.

Oshawa is my "home club". Appreciate the good feedback and could't agree more. Great place and good people.

I've shot at Oshawa once. Last spring some fellow CGN's organized a SxS skeet shoot. Great facility and I was certainly made to feel welcome.

I've shot at the Oshawa club a few times and tried to get a membership in 2015, told me they had a mile long waiting list. Did someone fib to me?
I live in Oshawa btw

Wes if you want a membership come see me, I'm the club president. I will help you out. We are now accepting new members as of Feb 1st, i'm there every week end Sat & Sunday. Just ask Julie or Tracy at the front desk and they will get me.

Will do Bert, I'll see if I can wander over this weekend.

Hope I can get in as a member also! Started going last summer skeet shooting with some current members and loved it. Great club and everyone is really nice. Picked up an application while shooting Sunday and I'll be handing it in Wednesday.

I don't have a membership at Oshawa but try to get out there a couple times a year for some skeet. It is a great club and very friendly. I wish I had a club like Oshawa close by.

Was a member many years ago after emigrating from England. Great club great people. had to quit due to financial reasons.
Don't now live in the area but would definitely go back

Oshawa is definitely on my list for this summer, for the sporting clays and maybe some 5-stand. Does anyone know if reservations are needed for visitors? I'd want to be sure there is room before we make the 3 hour drive. I'll phone the club to ask ahead anyway, but was reading this thread with my morning cuppa-joe and thought I'd ask.

Baron i like to personally invite you to come and shoot at Oshawa Skeet & Gun Club any time you would like. You can call ahead to check if we are open. It would be a good idea to check our events calendar to make sure there are no sporting clay tournaments that day. We have seven tournaments this year, one every month. First one on April 9th. You can get all the information on cost and starting times on Winscore.com. It's our scoring registration server.

Im just getting into long range shooting and have been looking for a 300 yard range near the GTA. I would love to come out and try my new Savage sometime soon. If memberships are available at OSGC I'd be interested in joining. All I hear are good things about this club.

Some friends and I just went to this club on the weekend and had an absolute blast. Great facilities, friendly people, awesome service. Can't wait to go back when it's not raining! I have to imagine that such a great club will be pretty busy though!

My first time ever was there, it was a rainy day and there was barely anyone there. If you don't mind the drizzle, great time for clay blasting.

Bac4, sage advice!
