Looks like another XR but in a green Dot/Reticle or perhaps one with a battery tray instead of the charging system?

Hi friend, it’s similar in design to the XR series, but features a green dot reticle system (530nm wavelength) instead of red. It also includes a CR1620 battery tray for power, rather than the charging system found on some other models.

.Thank you for the update. ♥️🙏

Going forward I don't see much use for the built in rechargable battery and charging case.

The battery life is so long that replacing cells every year or 2 is cheap and there will never be a time down the road where the built in battery is not holding charge and needs to be returned to Osight for service.

I have been using the charging case as a basic protector (not ideal but better then nothing) when the sights are in storage and I've noticed that a fully charged case will lose it's charge over a few months or so.... clearly there is some sort of parasitic draw of power on the battery.

If osight is going to continue these models they should perhaps figure out a way to turn on and off the charging from the charging cover so that after a year when the battery needs a charge it can be activated. The whole concept is a bit strange in that Osight promotes the case as a way of being able to charge the optic when needed but the charge interval is so long that the chances of not being near a power source for a few hours once a year or however long the charge lasts is low. Plus as I mentioned if you haven't kept the case plugged in to a power source waiting to charge the sight it will be dead anyways?

Vicky, When is osight going to make some tight fitting rubber dust/bump protectors for these sights and even better a tight fitting rubber over cover that has some flip up caps for foul weather use on a long gun while hunting?

The flip caps would be harder to incorporate into the existing design but a friction fit rubber cover is not new to the market and would be easy to replicate.

Something similar to this should be easy and cheap to produce,

SE is the RMSc

My next osight will be the newer RMR X model but with the future proof and less expensive side loading battery tray.

Hopefully with some rubber over case and flip up cap options!

I believe this new optic is the Osight SE Grn with reticle & RMR foot print. At least hoping it is.

We'll find out tomorrow for sure.

The rubber cover would be cool, but is it really necessary on an enclosed?

The flip up caps (clear) would be sweet, but I believe the optic would need to be bigger, like the HS.

All of my scopes are enclosed and I prefer them wearing Vortex Defender flip caps.... :)

A one piece rubber bikini top should be cheap to make and would protect the optic in transit and storage and it could even be used to keep rain, sleet and snow off the lenses while out hunting in bad weather.

The current SE is RMSc 2 moa red dot and 32 moa circle with a cr1620 side load battery.
SE Grn, sounds like a green version.
