Osoyoos Wildlife Federation held it's annual 1000M shoot on June 9th & 10th. The skill level gets better every year. Of the 130 targets fired 34 of the 3 shot groups were under 10" and for the 1st time ever we recorded a perfect score of 30-3x (fired on an NRA 600 yard target @ 1000m). The Sidley mountain range is very difficult to read as wind, mirage, sun & cloud conditions are constantly changing. A number of rain showers were thrown into the mix this year. Any score over 20 or groups under 10 inches were things to be proud of. The trophy winners are listed here. A complete list of results along with a short list of equipment used can be found on the link below. You will note that this year hunting class rifles outshot the unlimited class for both score and group size.

UNLIMITED CLASS; Jerry Teo of Summerland, B.C. with an excellent score of 30-2x
HUNTING CLASS; Ron Hiller of Sidley Mountain, B.C. with a perfect score of 30-3x
STANDING UNSUPPORTED; Cliff Young of Osoyoos, B.C. with a great score of 12-0x
SMALLEST GROUP; John Nett of Sidley Mountain, B.C. with a very tight group of 3.063"

How big is the perfect score target you're shooting at. I might be up for that next year as well. My spotter/shooter will be itching for more competitions for next year.
