Think hes saying the stock itself is 7.5, not the total package. Towards the end hes talking that you wont be free shooting it.

The Mk36 made it's debut at Shot Show back in 2014, again back in 2015, it was put on hold indefinitely back in 2016 and now it is back again. so until you see a live firing video of the MK36, I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for it's release.

This rifle can definitely give the Modern Hunter some serious competition if it comes to Canada as NR. Probably at a lower price point too.

That stock looks like an MDT Skelton stock, certainly not 7.5lbs. Maybe they used depleted uranium for that model though?

M1a sell for ~$2k USD so thats ~$2700CDN.
JAE stock is ~$1700USD. this is NEW receivers, upper and lower, proprietary mags.
i dont see this as ever going to be cheaper than a MH, maybe a MV.
