OT but hunting related

im not sure where or who to ask this question of mine.

ive just been somewhat asked to engage in a local community network 'program' to include Youth with Sustainable hunting..

the bro text an said he copped an email from the cnc, asking if i was still or would be interested in doing so... an he just said its worth a talk with them about it.

I think its a Great idea... an something that im interested in, its just where do you start ! what do you start with.. can i express what i want without turning "aussie kids" off... my 'ideaology' if you will , differs from what they know..

anyway, of course i can..

im just wondering if anyone here is or has done any sort of hunter ed type programs, covered sustainable hunting to groups? etc
this is not so much a hands on guns , shooting deer program, at all... its more classroomy, i think its once a month? with feild trips in order aka looking at sign/wallows..perhaps organise with a recent deer harvest etc.

it did that when i was a kid (i did enjoyed it a lot) and it was done here in all classrooms around whitehorse for winter camping, trapping and hunting taking care of a bison even not shooting it and we re loosing it because the teachers and responsables do not want kids around guns. we had to shut down a winter program that included shooting laser guns .. so no projectile ... that was too much ... so i gave up the coaching program of shooting in winter and summer.

yeah Medvac , its something thats lacking in our culture big time, just the basics an fundamentals of what You guys know as "hunting game" , "hunting" and "game" non existant in the vocabulary here.
butchering game meat? you mean knock the back legs off whole , load on ute and unload throw to dog whole? thats stemmed from generations of kangaroo shootin to 'feed the dogs' , farm dogs etc..

we are slowly turning with the game meat side of life..
but the shootin.. thats real an raw

16 year olds shootin 308s , cant kill nothin?
