HI all
i was wondering if anyone out there knows a website that may have other games using the trap thrower that might not be as formal as regualr trap

or if any one has fun games, i played one the last time i was at trap it was lots of fun.
it was with 5 ppl and the first shooter shot if he missed the next shooter beside him had the chance of hitting the same bird if he hit it the first shooter is out. or if a big enough piece was left and the 2nd shoot hit it the first would be out. plays like this to last man standing. lots of fun great compition.
I was wondering if theres otheres like this .

Yes: A good 2 person team event. One shooter stands on each side of the trap house with 15-20 shells laid out on the trap house roof or on a small stand.
On the start the trapper continues to throw 25 birds as fast as the machine will cylce them. The object is for the 2 shooters to break as many as they can while loading only 1 round at a time. With practice the 2 shooters can learn to work together where the first shooter would take birds No 1-3-5-7 and so on while the second shooter would shoot every second bird. Sounds good in theory but it usually doesn't work that easily. A score of 22 or 23 is a very good score........usually. Its a fast paced but fun event and great practice for doing the fast reload. Remeber only 1 shell at a time.
Lots of times both shooters will shoot the same bird and them 1 or 2 will get away while they are both reloading. Try it-----its fun. You can do it with a wobble trap machine as well and make it even more challenging.

OoOo I LIKE IT, that sounds like it could be lots of fun,get a couple of 2 person teams, could be a hoot. maby even a few bucks on the table.

We used to play follow the leader occasionally. First guy would stand anywhere he liked, and everybody had to shoot from that position.Miss and out. Then the second guy would pick a spot, etc. you could shoot from your knees, the back of a truck behind the trap, whatever you could think up as long as you weren't shooting towards the crowd.

We will sometimes start out ahead of the trap house at maybe 5 paces. Each shot you have to move 2 more paces ahead. Best of five wins. The hard left and rights are tricky, sometimes they are on the ground before you even see them.

that could be fun but i dont think some of the guys i shoot with are willing to stand out infont of the trap house. but i some thing i can think of when i head up to the farm with some buddys

We use to play a game similar to the original you posted. However we would move back 3 yards after everyone had their chance to shoot first, and then change stations. Some nights we were well beyond the 27 yard line before people were starting to fall out of the game!
