Has any one used the hornady 195 grain hpbt match in 30 cal.Ive been looking for other options over the Berger bullets for f class shooting because they are impossible to get and it makes it hard to plan a shooting season when you can't get the bullets. They seem to have the same Bc as the 185 Berger any thoughts or experience would be appreciated.
Thanks

Matrix bullets may be another option. I haven't tried the 30cal options but I have had good results with their vld's in 6.5 and 7mm
Canadian made too!

I believe matrix would be a good option as well but my issue is availability,I love the bergers and jlk but the problem is getting them it's hard to plan for a match six or eight months ahead when you can't get the bullets.
This is why I'm looking for other options to find a good available bullet in 30 cal.to be able to compete in f class as you know if you go to a weekend match your going threw close too two hundred rounds.
Maybe I should take up golf instead no shortage of golf balls lol...

Build a Golf Ball Rifle!!! :)

The sad reality of "supply" is that you need to be stocked 2 seasons ahead (bullets, primer, brass ,barrels) and restock as you use up 1 season.
I've heard of too many shooters who have trusted the supply chain only to be left scrambling trying to buy components at last minute and in some cases
had NONE when it was time to shoot matches.

As suggested earlier, both Lapua and Matrix produce excellent 30's in various weights as well as Sierra's offerings. Sorting of ALL brands is highly recommended.
Although no personal experience with the new Hornady offerings I have witnessed decent results with some. .

Hope you can get things sorted in time for Nats...
Good luck
