1lb ground. Cooked. Stewed in a can of mushroom soup (if condensed soup, and the appropriate amount of fluid), mix in a package of Liptons Onion Garlic soup mix. Bring it to a slow boil, stir, and let any excess fluid steam off...
Grind for burger or sausage
grind and make burger jerky(not hard at all)
cube and simmer until tender and make sheperds pie( my favorite)
can in jars(a Newfoundland staple, looks like cat food in the jar but is honestly the best tasting meat you will ever taste. Salt,Pepper, cube of salt pork) can be eaten hot or cold and literally will last for years. If you use moose you will be shocked at how good it is.
Any other way you can think of but it ain't dog food that's for sure
We fine grind them and then my wife makes Samosa's with it. Currie (pataks paste and dry powder), peas, spices, cilantro, garlic and onions and then place into folded wraps and deep fry and eat with a good mango chutney, absolute heaven.
