Ottawa area shooting ranges?

I have been looking into ranges as I want to get in for shooting the new to me 22 handgun.

I had a link for a range in Smiths Falls that was very decently priced and had ranges for everything from trap to competition handgun, do they still exist?


Any other places that are member only that are about 30min from Ottawa and will allow handgun and rifle shooting?

I know about Stittsville but it does not look like they will have much open range time for members as weekends are open to the public.

Ya, the limited rifle to 22 sucks, but I did take my course there and was thinking about it.

I do plan to move west about 50km from the city though, so west would be preferred.

I live west of the city as well, once i get the R on my license I plan on getting a handgun.

I'm a member at stittsville, never really had any issue getting on any of the ranges. Public days are not quite the same schedule as members only. For members during "summer" hours (Apr-Dec) it's wed/thru/fri plus sat/sun. For non-members it's sat/sun only. There are three pistol ranges and usually 1 of them is empty whenever I go. It's the closest to me and works out well for me. YMMV.
