Ottawa bunny hunt

I like my new fangled ones. My old ones were beyond repair and they performed flawlessly for many years. It was owner error that they died a premature death. What I have found is that the newer style are easier to manouver (sp) in the thicker areas but don't provide the necessary floatation in deeper snow unless you attach the "floaters" or "beaver tails" to them. But I still like my new fangled ones. LOL

Where do you live? Maybe one of us could go pick you up...

I'm ready to go. All packed up. No quad though. I want to keep it fairly simple tomorrow. There's always another day for that.

Thanks very much to Turkeyslayer and Buckhunter for making yesterday happen - we didn't get anything, but had a great time anyway and learned alot.

Can't wait to do it again - thanks guys!

Anytime bluemike870. Friends were made and good times were had. No bunnies or birds though. The weather was not too cold, the sky was not too gray and we were outdoors getting some (much needed on my part;)) excercise. You couldn't ask for a better day.

The official count for the day was partridges 5, CGN bunny Hunters 0. We flushed several grouse but were unable to add any to the bag. After about three hours of hunting we convened for a little improptu clay shooting. A good time was had by all.
