Just wanted to stop in and say 'hi'.

I'm just getting into guns, looking to write my tests soon. Not sure why I waited so long to go down this road, but I'm looking forward to the journey.

At this time, I don't know a frikin' thing about the sport, or the equipment. But I have some friends who are REALLY into it and it's kind of infectious.

Mostly I'll be doing research and reading up on things, so if you don't hear from me very much, it's because I'm keeping my mouth shut and listening.

Lookin' forward to learning all the things I don't know.

Start with this post, "Newbie FAQ". Very good place to begin.

Then, I'd suggest browsing in the section which deals with your particular fields of interests. In the section "Firearm and Optics", I think you'll find a sub-section or two that you'll like. Shotguns, hunting rifles, military surplus, etc...
