I've been shooting for years on private land, but I'm looking to get a range membership now somewhere close by - I emailed EOHC about joining a while back but still no word on the safety course - Any members there know how often they take place? Also, anyone a member at the smith falls range? How is it? I might look into joining there if the EOHC course isn't happening any time soon, I'd like to shoot sooner rather than later!

I'm a member at Smiths Falls Fish and Game Club. No complaints. They have a 200/100/50 yard rifle range, Shotgun range, handgun range and an archery range. Price is $125.00 and you need to go to a monthly meeting to become a member.
I like the fact that when I go there is maybe only 1 person there.
The corses take place on an as required basis. We typically don't run a course when there are only four or five people on the list. We like to have at least 10 students. Add to that winter is now here...we may run a course in January if there are enough people.
