Just in case this 10 points buck was one of his tractor, please share my apologies to your kids & families for slowing down Santa's sled.

I admit I did not think twice when that rack crossed my line of sight: I did like Cupid and gave it an arrow... The adrenaline shot that followed was welcome after freezing 3 hours in -14C.

For making the difference between a whitetail & reindeer, MUCKWA's 4 year old is indeed a bright kid and it is what was meant. Most sincere apologies to the concerned if it was understood otherwise.

For the rest of it, I simply tried to be humorous as we all know the difference between one and the other. Evidently, the season's eggnog got in the way of good writing.

Since late August, this 10-pointer was showing up regularly on hunt cam but only at night. Never got to see him during the firearm season so I had given up on him. I was out with my crossbow for doe meat earlier this month and guess who showed up a 09h05 am, in 6 inch of snow and -14C temperature...
Yes, a nice XMas gift indeed: it filled the freezer + bonus rack on the wall.
