Oh man, I wish I had $3400 burning a whole in my pocket. Then my LMT could have a big brother.

Dammit I just bought one of the KAC SR25 EMC's but if I had known these were going to drop that much I might have changed my mind considering the enormous price difference.

Mark, LMT was apparently going to produce a barrel for the MWS in 6.5 Creedmoor, any idea on the timeline and availability?

It is still expected but we have no details at this time beyond what they published in their 2011 Catalogue. Here is the link to the 2011 Catalogue... see page 5 for 308 barrel details...

I will be down at LMT's factory next month and will hopefully get more info at that time.

I noticed that a number of the LMT 308's sold out (on the website) overnight.

The balance of the LMT shipment is on a truck right now, has cleared customs, and is expected to arrive at our Canadian offices later tonight...

So there will be a few more 308's put onto the website shortly... at the sale pricing :)

Thanks Mark, I'd be very interested to hear, if you get any further info.

Are the stocks easily reverted to folding or would I have to buy a new stock?

AR stocks don't usually "fold", they adjust/collapse allowing you to shorten or lengthen them... not the same thing.

The "X" models of the LMT have full functioning stocks but the extension tubes are non-adjusting... you could drill adjustment holes in the extension tubes, or you can replace the non-adjusting extension tube with a Mil-Spec 5 or 6 position tube.

The "F" models have the adjustable extension tube installed... they also have threaded barrels with A2 Flash Suppressors.

Choose the model that's right for your needs.

Sorry, I knew that. I just typed folding while I was thinking adjustable, my 3rd brain fart just today.... Also your X or F options only apply to 5.56 rifles right? So neither .308 LMT`s have adjustable buffer tubes and non removeable flash hiders? Right?

Check with Scott at Questar... I think we switched the tubes and threaded the barrels once those guns entered Canada... I could be wrong so double check with the office by email.

Are there any other differences between the LM308MWSF and the LM308MWSE other than the SS 1-11.25 barrel?
