I think the final decision on the "shorty" length will be made after they finish all of their test evaluations. It may be that a 12" ends up being more accurate than say the 10.5" or 10.3", etc.. Since the gas system is so short (4 or 4.5") the barrel can be extremely short, however, anything less than 10" would finish inside the MRP's rail.

My guess is we'll see something in the 10.3" to 12" range as the shorty but that is just a guess... no indication was given during our trip as they haven't decided that info themselves yet from what I saw. It is still very much a work in progress at this moment.

Yup... With currency cost increases the past few months and with other cost increases we simply couldn't maintain that hugely discounted sale price any longer without at least some increase.

Don't be surprised if these go up again after the New Year... they are still selling for below our regular Retail price point.
 
I bought one today :). It's an LMT 14.5, it was the Last one in stock. Great price for an LMT 1569$. I can't wait to get her to the range.

Why didn't you buy it 3 days ago when it was 12% off. Could have saved over $200 with tax.
I would cancel the order unless they are willing to give you the 12% deal.
 
I'm pissed I paid $500 more for my LMT-STD145-F only if I knew the prices would drop this much I would have waited. Hey Mark can we work something out on a 308

I did't know.... Anyway prices are very competitive. They are 300-500$ less than everywhere else and because I live in QC I only pay 5% tax so it's almost 10% off anyway.
 
Any good news from LMT @ the Shot Show?

Bringing back an old but important thread.

I'm looking for the 16" SS 1:7 twist Mike Rock barrel for the MRP 556 system. Any chance of getting some of these in?

We don't stock them as there simply isn't enough demand to justify doing so. LMT still shows these are an available product, though they don't have them in stock either (checked their website).

It is something you could arrange to special order but the delivery date would likely be "way out there" as right now LMT is taking 6 to 9 months (on average) for order deliveries. We're just now getting shipment of orders we placed at the SHOT Show last January.
