Our WW2 match in the Vancouver area ...

Gothmog
We run one on the Island in Parksville, every 3rd. Sat. morning of the month. Go to our website to get a better idea, it is a very popular shoot.
The rules are that you can shoot any type of military rifle with open sights, 25 shots at a man size target from various distances and 5 points extra for a fixed bayonet, and 5 points for some sort of appropriate headgear, beret or helmet. Serve coffee and donuts and charge $3 per shooter to cover the cost.

Thanks Al, I'll check that out! It's interesting to see what else is out there in terms of shooting competitions. You have some interesting ideas on the use of accessories.

Unlike your event, our match is an action match (like IPSC) and our fee is quite a bit higher than yours at $20. We run them to raise funds for our club which is slowly re-becoming one of the premier Action Shooting Ranges in BC, with 10 shooting pads and lots of props and equipment.
