Out playing with my Mark II

Well i was doing some ammo testing at my indoor range. All groups are from 20 yards because thats as far as i can go there. I am impressed and cant wait for warm weather so i can start to do some longer shots but this gives me a better idea of what my gun is liking. All shots are from a Mark II BV with bipod and a rear bag scope is a scorpion 4-12x44 AO. All groups are 5 shots

I hope i did the group figuring rite but if not im am shure some one will corect me

this is a little unreal i was thinking that thease targets might of not been showing the whole bullet mark so next time i am going to use some paper targets with the rem subsonics and the Lapua but i had a blast and my TRR-SR is on its way

Thats some mighty fine shooting if i do say so! I think measurements usually go from center of hole to center not from outside edges. But I am not sure and it may depend on the style of shooting. Either way its impresive what a savage can do.

Try some CCI Standard Velocity. It's cheap, and still shoots!

Came out on top of my ammo test in the same gun, although I didn't bother with that pricey Lapua!

Also a CCI Standard fan. Rem700j, You measure groups outside to outside in thousandths of an inch, so a 3/4" groups is measured .750, and then you subtract the diameter of the bullet (.223) to get the group size. ie; .750 outside to outside minus .223 = .527" group. The poster did it correctly as you can see his math scribbled on the paper.
