I was at Canadian Tire today and picked up one of these on sale for $79.99 regular $199.99. The specs say ED glass, fully multi coated lenses and water/fog resistant. Comes with a carrying case and tripod. I have to tell you I am pretty impressed so far. I took the scope out to test focus and clarity at highest magnification and I was able to see leaves clearly in focus on trees 400-500 yards away.
I bought this for the range and should have no issues viewing target results at 200 yards. Check the link below. I thing the sale ends on the 15th.

I just bought one today...figured for under $90 what the heck......I have been spotting around my house up to an easy 1km away into the industrial park area at equipment and people mulling around.
I am quite surprised at how well it works....focuses decent, clarity is plenty fine enough for me....Am heading to the range later on today so will see what its like at 300 meter targets

Again, for the price ya cant expect alot, but for the ranges ill be using it at, I'd call it money well spent....just buys me time to save up more for a better piece of glass now

I'd be interested in how it performs at 300 yards. Max distance at my range is 200 yards.

I just ranged a sattelite dish down the street at 368 meters on 40 power, read Telus on it clear and easily....heat waves though...should be great for range work but Ill let ya know

scope worked like a hot damn at the range for me, I could see my 280 hits at the 250 board....took it out tonight and was easily spotting small bucks at 3-400 meters with it......works great for the price

I found it very difficult to see .22 cal bullet holes at 100 yards & a lot of distortion. That said I had no problem returning it.

Made in China so perhaps yours had some quality issues. Did you purchase the 20-60x80 or the lower model?

I'm having absolutely no issues with mine. Here is a shot of the moon I took a few weeks ago using a tripod and adapter for my phone camera (digiscoping)

Note: some of the resolution in the photo below was lost in the upload to photobucket. Actual photo is sharper and clearer...

The one I purchased had a 70mm objective lens.

Yup I saw that at the store, different brand/make altogether. I lucked out buying the one I did when it was in sale...
