I was trying to organize a moose hunt with a few friends this year but it seems like we cannot all get time off during the narrow moose hunting season. We think things might work better if we hunt for deer.
I'd appreciate if anyone can guide me to an outfitter / lodge / camp for a deer hunt. We are a group of four guys. Some have never hunted. One guy has been hunting since he was a kid in Newfoundland.
We are looking to find a hunt that is some mix of walking on foot and from stands. Not looking for a driven or dogged hunt. I'm not judging anyone who chooses to do that - just stating what we are looking for.
