I'm going to call this critter the finger biter! I'm wearing gloves from now on. This is the second time....then again maybe I shouldn't be firing 3" buckshot with it anymore. I'm no wimp but it has nasty nasty recoil.....and I love it

Call me a girly man if you will but on stuff like that- I have a couple of Dlask 8.5 inchers- I wear PAST gloves until I get past the learning curve.

I haven't got a chance to try 3" in mine but that's what I was thinking of using too.
You only have 2 shots so why not make them 15 pellets each.

Now I'm kind of worried though.

Anyone know a maker who could make a "Thompson Center" style stock for it with a bit of a pistol grip to help with the slip-slide issue? Could an OEM stock be modified with composite material to achieve this? Without taking away the Old West styling of course...keep it a nice wood finish without any tacticallyness whatsoever.

Mine hasn't arrived yet but I if hand-slip becomes an issue, I may have the hutterites fasten a leather strap to the fore end for me to stick my hand through. I think a nice piece of cowhide would not look out of place on that shortie (at least not any more than a black polymer vertical grip )
