Wanted to get some H110 at the Markham Lebaron store (listed at $24.72 per pound in their catalog) but they were sold out. Went up to Bass Pro and paid over $36. I also noticed a lot of their hunting accesories are 50% more expensive.

WSS in Calgary is typicaly 8 to 10 bucks cheaper than bass pro for powder. I have bought it at bps only when in desperate need and wss was out of stock.

I am more used to paying less than $30. I bought H4198 last week at lebaron for under $29.

All of the H and IMR powders are less than $30 at the Calgary WSS. Problem is finding them in stock. If you think these are expensive, don't look at the Alliant stuff.

OP, I have to admit that I bought 1 lb of IMR-4350 at Bass Pro for their extortionate price simply because I needed it for load development and no one else had it. I will try very hard to avoid doing that again.

So you buy at BPS all the time then?:D

Only had to twice so far. I always keep an eye on the powder board at WSS. If they have a powder i use frequently I buy a couple pounds weather i need it or not.WSS is 10 minutes from my house BPs is almost an hour so I avoid it as much as possible.Next time I'm there I will enquire with a manager as to why the powder is 30% more.

I was visiting Ontario this summer past and decided to pop into Bass Pro. I was quoted a price of between $65 and $75 bucks for a brick of primers. Their prices on reloading supplies are out to lunch.

I picked up a pound of Varget at Shooters Choice in Waterloo just because I was in the area and was out and my bill was $42 and change.

Bass pro quoted me $7/100 for winchester small pistol primers a couple of weeks ago. I'd learn to make my own before I'd pay that.

Prices seem to be coming down in the US for primers and powder(Ive seen CCI primers for US$130/5K) and inventory is up.Hopefully the same will happen here in Canada and we will see the end of price gouging and $7/100 primers!

Bullets are not any better, when I was in there the TSX's I wanted were $35/50 overpriced, so I didn't buy them, I guess thats why thy have stock. They seem to be like every other sporting goods store, there are things they have at a good price to get you through the door, but obviously for Bass Pro, reloading components are not one of them.
