Over 16 metric tons of brass being auctioned by National Defence: Attention reloader

what do you mean if so they can only be used for scrap

i can reload those so why cant you?

The gubbernment says they can not be used for reloading purposes, it is part of the deal when someone buys this stuff.
Go read the fine print on the actual bid sheet...it would appear that the fine print/stipulation has been removed...

62,000kg oh large caliber brass just sold in Saskatchewan for $345,000 and 13,000kg of other caliber brass sold for $67,000 holly crap that's a lot of cash being spent.

So is this brass in one location?

Did DND pay to have empty brass shipped across the country to Ottawa or some other place to be sold for scrap?

The brass is in Alberta and if you bid on it and win you only have a short window to pick it up, but I think the might have delivery you can use. It can be scrapped but you can also reload the brass but there is not big loading manufactured in Canada and you can't export the brass with out government approval.
