Here's the challenge: PTRD recoils in its built in buffer by exactly the ER of the most popular quality scopes: about 3 1/2 to 3 3/4". That means that in order to scope a PTRD I need a scope with more than 4" ER. Do you know a quality manufacturer that makes such a thing and can put a reticle on it similar to NF's NP-R1?

Scout scopes as well as pistol scopes have in excess of 6" of eye relief. Question will be high enough magnification available for your purpose? Changing reticles will be no problem as most scope manufacturers offer more than one reticle.

There are IER (Intermediate Eye Relief) scopes available, meant for use on scout rifles.
However, the selection is very limited. Leupold for example, makes only one IER model, with 2.5 magnification. I expect that other manufacturers also offer a limited selection.
What magnification do you want? I doubt there are any IER scopes available past 4x power.

PTRD is an extremely long range rifle with a round that delivers very flat trajectory. It means that I need a scope with at least power in their 10-20x's and a reticle that has at least a few notches on the Y axis.
