Over/Under Stock of some sorts?

Hello all,

A gunsmith in my area recently passed away, and I have some of his estate. He had 10 of these over under stocks, some had been modified to fit him better. I cannot seem to find what shotgun these are off of, so I thought i’d ask around here. Any info helps. Thanks!

Most shotguns that I have had, were much more "open" shape to the pistol grip. Is it possible that is from a two piece stock rifle? - like Savage 99 or Ruger #1 or that sort of thing - no clue about the inletting - just that very curved pistol grip - I see that on some rifles - have not seen that on shotguns.
