just wondering what you guys think is the best overall handgun. since my experience is limited just want to see what some of you guys think. so far i love my glock 22.

S&W 5946 in 9mm - followed closely by my new M&P in .40 cal. Found the ideal bullet and powder charge for the M&P - less than 2" groups at 25 yards!

One of my 1911s. Which one of the 1911s? I am thinking my Dan Wesson 10mm. Regards, Richard:D

Hk's are very reliable. CZ are great for absorbing recoil. Glock is a reliable piece as well. Target pistols I know very little about. STI's andSVI's are great SA guns in .40.

I'm a SIG fan, any model.:) Some of the most accurate production pistols you can buy, ultra reliable, last you a lifetime-one of the mods has a 226 with over 100,000 rounds on it.
I have a 220 in 9mm and it's very accurate, never had a jam.

Best All Round Pistol?

Well, it's the one YOU own that YOU shoot well....

So far I shoot the following centerfire pistols 'well': Glock 17, Glock 19, Glock 22, Glock 27, CZ75, BHP MkIII 9mm, BHP MkIII .40 S&W, S&W 4006 .40 S&W, and the 1911 in 9mm, .38ACP, 10mm, .45ACP....;)

am talking reliable, low recoil, performance, that sort of thing; dont care about looks, or comps.

Based on that I would go with Beretta 92; as reliable as semiautos get, soft recoiling and quite accutate. You may not care about looks but you get it with a 92FS anyway. :)

As of right now I'd say the Glocks but the K100 design has the potential to be better IMO.
