Hi all,
Does anyone know of a dealer in BC that sells holsters? I just received my Glock 48, and rather than order on-line I'd like to be able to actually see the product first. If anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

Yeah I’ve never seen much selection at any retailers. Best bet is to check out Solely Canadian for kydex, or Galco for leather.

also the safariland als holsters you can find on eBay or Amazon are actually really awesome, and adjustable for lots of different guns.

I would recommend one of the safariland models over anything else unless you’re needing custom fitments like lights and whatnot, where you’d need a custom fit kydex order.

The galco combat master is the nicest leather holster I ever owned.

I'm just messin with you. I run a "Cytac" OWB holster when I bring the G48 to the range. I like it.

Siwash Sports in Chilliwack has two Grey Fox Strategic holsters in stock for the G48, not sure you will find many in stock anywhere locally unfortunately, most local stores don’t carry a lot of holster stock. I get that you would like to see them in person but the reality is that doesn’t happen often, what I can say is that Solely Canadian, Grey Fox Strategic, Bladetech, Safariland and Comptac all make excellent holsters that will last for years to come

Thanks to all....great help.
edgy....can I ask what your running for a belt with the Grey Fox? Need to assemble my rig from scratch.
Thanks

If you want to try a bunch of holsters it's best to do this while on vacation south of the boarder. There's no restrictions on bringing back holsters as for as I know.

If there is restrictions someone please chime in because I was going to wait for my trip to ND to buy one for my G48 like I did for my 1911. Maybe the rules have changed IDK.

I’m running a 5.11 Operator belt, they are only around $50, can be used as an everyday belt, and are tough as hell. I know a bunch of us use them for IDPA and they last for years. If you are looking for a two belt system I would suggest a Double Alpha Academy setup
Both DSS in Vancouver and Joint Force Tactical in Chilliwack can help you with your belt needs

DSS? Not familiar with them...didn't come up on a google search?
Lol sorry didn’t realize I hit an extra S!
DS Tactical in New West
DS and Joint Force also carry holsters, maybe not for a 48 specifically but at least you could check out the build quality.
Personally I’m a huge fan of Solely Canadian holsters but they are about a 6 week wait to have one built, well worth the wait in my opinion, just fantastic holsters :)

My (G48) Raven Perun is excellent. Not a fan of injection molding (in general), I was a late adopter, but this holster is really excellent. Don't get hung up on the aesthetics; it looks unusual but it is, in fact, exceptionally engineered and almost completely adjustable (to suit your fancy). I set it up, put 242 on the nuts, and that's it, it's been completely bulletproof. If I had to choose only one OWB holster for the G48, that'd be the one.

I bought an Opaz on ebay. It works very well and comes with the hardware for IWB or OWB.
