I have a few questions for those here who own the Beretta AL391 Urika 2. The question is regarding the butt spacer/butt pad configuration. As far as I have read/been told, the Extrema comes with a different spacing system than the Urika 2. Is this correct?

1. What comes with this Beretta in the way of butt pads/spacers? My cousin brought his out to the range a few weeks ago, but he didn't bring the manual so we weren't too sure how to switch it out, and I wasn't about to start fiddling with his $1300 gun. I want to say that there was the rubber butt pad, and 2 plastic spacers of different thickness to use with the pad, but I can't remember for sure.

2. My next question is.... if the above is correct, and the gun comes with 2 plastic butt spacers with a rubber butt pad.... what are the LOP's for each of these spacers when installed (with the pad of course)? Also, is the rubber butt pad DESIGNED to allow you to attach it directly to the stock without using either of the plastic spacers?

I am having a hard time finding a detailed answer to either of these questions anywhere on the net. Some say the Urika 2 comes with a hard plastic butt plate and one spacer, some say 2 spacers and one rubber butt pad.

Thanks

my 391 gold sporting came with a hard plate and a soft one, 2 spacers. I bought it used, so I don't know if the previous owner added them after the fact... head to www.shotgunworld.com, scroll down to the beretta page, and look up the 391 guru known as seamus. He put out a great book on the 391, it's 15.00 u.s. and the best money you will ever spend!
