Owners opinion on the Savage 110 Scout

I’d like to read what people who own, owned or tried the current model of the Savage 110 Scout think or them, preferably in .308. It is absolutely impossible to find currently here in Canada, but I’ve been thinking about this rifle since I first saw it. I don’t expect it to be a competition winning rifle but I really like the concept of adjustable comb height and lenght of pull of those new Savage stocks.

I too have looked long and hard at this rifle recently. However if you dig a bit deeper into recent reviews there is nothing but bad press about them and the front sight being a huge issue. I guess Savage produced this rifle with two short of a front sight and with the rear peep sight all the way down or back this rifle is still printing rounds super high. It's not just an isolated issue either there are dozens of accounts of these rifles and the site's not working properly. I guess both Savage Canada and Savage USA have turned a blind eye to this and are not helping customers at all. For $1,000 rifle I think I will be looking elsewhere.
