oxidized cast bullets

I have some 20 yr old carroll bullets, 44 240 gr that have oxidized.

any idea if they will damage the bore?

No they won't. You might try cleaning them by a rub with a rag and or oil. Wipe the excess off. If theyre still in spec for size etc. I'd use them. If not melt them down and re cast.

That white coating is lead oxide which is readily absorbed through the skin.

Take care when handling them,wear gloves, and throw the rags away afterwards if you decide to wipe them down.

Lead oxide is not only readily absorbed, it is way more toxic than elemental lead. Be careful as suggested above.
