Hi

I just got a new P-09 Kadet. Im getting failure to feed on approx every 4th round. Spent round is being ejected, next round still in magazine
So far I've only tried winchester wildcat
I'll try other ammo but usually CZ can work with any ammo?
I've read the manual that came with the pistol but its such small type I can bearly see it!
It did come with two extra recoil springs, red and blue. I didnt see a mention of them in the manual.

Any one else run into this?

Thank you

The different coloured recoil springs are for high velocity and standard velocity ammo. You have to change out the springs depending on the type of ammo you are using.
It may take some experimentation until you can match the spring to the ammo you are using.
Winchester Wildcat is not the best ammo to be using in a pistol IMO.

Thanks
I tried some CCI and it was better but still 1 in 10 fail to feed
I t would be nice if the manual said which colour spring was for high velocity!

Semiauto 22LR firearms are notoriously sensitive to ammunition type. CCI Minimags have a reputation for being pretty good in most though. I have yet to find a firearm that didn't like the 36gr HP version. Win Wildcat has one of the worst reputations, though it works well in a few of mine (only when they are clean, lubed, and after they've been well-broken in).

I personally wouldn't swap mag springs around until you've tested with at least a few different types of decent ammo. It may improve with break-in as well.

If that doesn't fix things, let us know and we can have a closer look at the type of failure to feed you're getting.

I have run remington thunderbolts and cci mini mags with no issues (running the pistol with the recoil spring that was installed from factory).
