My wife inherited her grandmother's shotgun, unfortunately her rifle was lost a couple decades ago. At a recent family gathering I was able to get some info.
The rifle was made in the US, was in .303 Brit, and held 5 rounds. My wife's uncle (the guy that "lost" his mother's gun) thinks it was an Enfield.
So I'm thinking this probably adds-up to a Pattern 1914 rifle. Were there American makers?
