Wondering if the p.e.p.r mount co witnesses with flip ups?
Or could anyone suggest a better mount in the same price range?
Hilux 1x4 is the scope id like to mount.

Can't co-witness with the Hi-Lux, it's not a true 1x. Co-witness is silly anyway (in my opinion) why would you want to clutter up your sight picture any more than you need to. The CMR has a great reticle, leave the flip-ups folded except when you pull off the scope.
I own a CMR which is how I know it isn't a true 1x, you only see a bury thumb or sight through it at 1x.

You won't be able to cowitness BUIS with that scope because there is a high possibility that the occular bell of the scope will be sitting way back, over the charging handle and therefore you won't be able to open your folded rear BUIS.

The second reason is what CR5 said about that optic not being a true 1x. More like 1.25x.

One of the best reasons to have your optics cowitnessed with your BUIS (if possible) is so that if you remove one set of sights (say your RDS died and you got a replacement), you use the other set to zero in the new sights without having to fire a single shot. Having the BUIS up while running your main optics is just adding clutter and obscuring your field of vision.

How hard do you use your scope at the range? I almost get worried about co-witness on a weapon you plan to use in combat, almost... I'd rather remove the defective scope and just go irons personally, but I guess that's my non high low drag speed opinion.

With A PEPR mount and a Vortex PST 1-4x24 scope I can't use the rear iron as it needs to be folded to get the right eye relief.

Thanks for the info.... makes sense just too used to using a red dot, aposed to a scope.

Dave where would one find this mount?
Do any of the dealers on here sell it?

There are 1 or 2 canadian dealers, I know IRG brought some in. I ordered it from Brownells in the states. There was no extra paperwork BS.
