Any ideas where I can get a replacement wood stock for a P14 ? Enfield that won't break the bank. I came across one that was "sporterized" and I would like to restore it to what it should be. The barrel was not cut however the stock was, and there is some wood missing. I'm looking for a winter project.

Numich has a walnut dropin stock with no hardware for $126 US but it appears they will ship to Kanuckistan. From Boydboys anything over $100 requires an import licence (For a Piece of Freakin' Wood !!!!  :x ) I would prefer to buy up here however may have to buy down south and perform some creative shopping techniques. The stocks Numich and Boydboys sell sure are Purdy  There is a stock maker in Lumby BC who may have a pattern think Ill try him. :) I may see him at the Salmon Arm Gunshow this weekend. If anyone has any more info please post as my wife wants me to have a winter project or I'll have to spend winter in the Nudie Bar :D

Maybe you could take the stock with you....

Nothing like 'hand rubbed wood' at a Nudie bar...

.......................I cant believe I said that.................

I've heard a Woodie is quite common in the Nudie Bar

I don't like where this thread is going :|

Went to the Salmon Arm Gun Show today and from the various discussions I'll probably have to order the Stock in from the USA. Saw a stock on a M1 Garand that was purchased from Boyds. It was a beaut. The P14 I bought only cost $25 and the metal is great. The old boy I bought it from was going to smash it up and give it to the Pony Boys for disposal   I convinced him that it was wiser and better to sell it to me. The $25 was his price. If I put a $200 stock on it, I'm still ahead and besides, I'm not in it for profit, I'm in it for the love of it :D
