I need some photos so that I know what to look for. I cobbled together a Winchester P14 form a sporterised rifle and parts I bought here. A lot of fun/work and I just want to complete the project. I can't believe how well this groups, even with my 64 year old eyes! So I need photos of a bayonet (did Winchester make these too?), stripper clips, sling and whatever accoutrements go in the butt stock trap door. PM me if you need my contact info.
Thanks!

For Chargers ("clips"), any of Mark II, III or IV would have been used. Mark II was in production at beginning of the Great War, III and IV introduced during it.

Sling could have been a Pattern 1908 or the wartime leather substitute.

Bayonet looks very like the SMLE bayonet of the period but has 2 vertical GROOVES in the grip. Markings differentiate between the Pattern '14 and the US Rifle Model of 1917.

Your BUTT TRAP would have held a Pull-through with Wire Gauze, few Patches (4x2s) and a standard-issue OIL BOTTLE made of Brass.

Have fun!

Thanks for the help everyone and thanks Potashminer for the PM. Now I know what to look for, though I would still benefit from some photos :)
