Many thanks to gunmanquebec for the deal. It's kind of a cool little gun. After I opened it up I handed it to my wife and she said "I could probably shoot this thing" so I guess it can't be too bad. If feels nice, but I certainly wouldn't want a smaller grip. It will be interesting to see how it shoots. I would like to look at a P99 in person after handling this gun as it is pretty comfortable to hold. It appears to be very well made, but I haven't stripped it yet either. Just my initial first impressions, but I would give it 2 thumbs up.

they can be a pain to strip and clean the first time, but once you get the hang of it, not a problem. they are a blast to shoot and its the one and only gun my girlfriend will shoot, so that has to say a lot. all of the people that i know that shoot p22's say that they will work best with federal american eagle shells, mine has 10,000 down the tube without a hiccup

My wife and I I were just at Wholesales sports in Calgary today, and the salesman seen us coming. We didn't even say a word when we came up to the counter and he was already handing my wife a p22 to try on for size(it fit her hand like it was meant to be). Although I was looking for something for myself, I have to say I'm not at all dissapointed in the results of this young mans salesmanship. I was told already on the drive home, "buy what you want this time, but I think you should buy one of those next." Now, being 6'3" and 295 lbs, I ain't gonna lie to ya, it probably looks a little silly in my hands, but there is no doubt in my mind that I'll have a lot of fun with it, and I'll most likely put many more rounds through it than my wife will ever know. I'm glad to hear you guys have had good luck with them.
All the best,
KO
