Hey new to ipsc and wanted to pick up new gear before the black badge course, wondering on the chioces for the holster for p220 in .45
anyone have any advice on what they are running or what models will fit my sig.

thanks in advance...

The best advice you could get is to sell your p220 and buy CZ in 9mm and then decide on the holster. That will allow you to shoot more for the same amount of money...

I guess it depends if you are a player or a participant. Most are participants even if they think they are players. A bladetech is a good multipurpose holster, but a speed holster is just another piece of kit that is better, as in more specific The previous comment is correct, get a gun that is better suited to ipsc; however, we have a few shooters that use 45s and just do it for the pleasure of shooting the big stick. Cost of ammo can be an issue if you shoot a lot and want to improve.

I reload and have a stock pile of brass I have been saving for 5 years......
I just want to have fun, but I also know I am a competitive bastard so I would like to get decent gear. due to the nature of my job I'll never be a regular shooter.
as for the 9mm ...I'll get one ....for my gf when she decides to shoot.

thanks for the advice such that it is....but the question still remains.

Bladetech or Ghost (Stinger) should have models for the P220. You can also use a Blackhawk CQC (not Serpa) or any decent Kydex holster. Best bet is to contact Doubletap Sports, banner ad at top of this forum and see what Josko has on hand. I think the 220 will fit the same holster as a 226 but verify that. Any decent single stack mag pouch for the 1911 should also fit the Sig mags equally well (and if you ever decide to go Classic division you are half way there! ) you'll need at least 4 or 5. And don't forget a decent belt like the DAA to support all the gear.
