Greetings my fellow CGN's... 2 pals and I are seeking to purchase new P226 9MM in stainless steel (not black finish) Any ideas who may I have this in stock, I have checked most of the local stores in Vancouver and area. Hoping some other venues in other Provinces might be able to help. Thanks.

Just to add, I recently scored a 9MM and 40S&W 226, both in stainless and they are the cat's ass!
The extra heft makes recoil very pleasant, even for newbies...
(Not sure I'd want to tote one around all day, but worth the extra hassle to
source!):D

I would recommend Reliable Gun & Tackle if you're shopping in Vancouver.
Great bunch of guys, who will take their time to help and explain what you need to know.

Ha. Good luck! I ordered one in june and it still hasn't come in. With sigarms fullfilling their contract to the US Dept of Homeland defence and Coast Guard ( need stainless cause all that salt water) you'll be waiting a while. Ha. That's a good one.

Well I don't think the coast guard needs stainless framed models. All slides are stainless now. The stainless model is slide and frame.

The regular frame is aluminium. The navy contract model has some coating all all bits and pieces though.

A lady I was shooting with today said she grabbed the last standard 226 Wolverine had a couple weeks ago, and she is now on a roughly 3 month waiting list for a stainless model.

correction:
for sig p226
1. not every single model has stainless slide
2. for stainless model, the frame is alloy.
3.the regular frame are all alloy.not aluminium.

1. All new NA production has SS slide. The classic folded steel slide is only available in Europe.

2 No, the ST models have SS slides and frames. Same with the Sport models which are put together in Europe.

3 Yes the standard frame is aluminium.
