Hi, I am about to buy a P226 Classic 22lr and I want to know what bullet (I know it's 22lr lol) to use with it.

Some say some brand miss feed or problem with fire with this pistol.

What you suggest me?

Thank you,
Seb

I'm using a .22 conversion in my 226extreme.
It easily chews cci, federal, yellow jackets, and thunderbolts. I've yet to have a problem with the exception of the Winchester white box.

I have same SIG, shoot always CCI Mini-mag HP 1260, copper plated ammo, every time without problems, top accurate!
This 22 pistol likes to be wet on rails, keep it oiled and you'll never have a FTL or FTE.

Get a box of everything of you can find at the ammo shop and try them all. Every gun has its own personality and what ammo it likes best. I've got a gun that can't shoot straight with MiniMags but will make one ragged hole with 555s, so try everything.

Ditto on the mini-mags. She'll run those consistently. After the first few hundred mine also runs well with the Federal bulk stuff. The Winchester bulk ammo tends to "bend" where the bullet meets the casing and jam. And the round nose Blazer stuff jams a lot too.

I will go for CCI Mini-Mag HP # 0031 muzzle velocity 1260.

I Tried some website and I didnt finded one that have them in stock. Someone can PM me a website with a great price on them (I can go for a 1500 rounds box)...?

I tried SFRC, tradeX and a few more within the last couple hours...
