P226 conversions

I bought a new p226 in 22lr.
I was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy a new 226 in 9mm or just the barrel for my 226.
what's everyone think?

You will need the whole top end...( barrel and complete slide) as well as mags. Check with Questar, they have/had these conversions.

The 9mm kit will run you ~$550+tax/ship for Questar. A 9mm P226 with run you ~$1100+tax/ship.

Here is a really good through review of the P226LR by the one...the only... NUTNFANCY. Seriously check it out, it's just over 30 mins, very verbose, but probably has whatever info your looking for buried in there somewhere.

I have bought the 226 in .22 from Target sports during SIG day and works great with the right ammo.
I then bought the 9mm conversion kit from Questar, they charged me an extra $99 on top of the $514 for the conversion kit since I didn't buy my 226 from them.
Worked out anyways since the 226 was $175 cheaper at Target Sports.
