Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if I can get your thoughts on the pros and cons do the Extreme vs. the MK25 and which you prefer.

Thanks!

I did not like the G-10 grips...not really the deal breaker.... I reeeeeeally liked the anchor. I wish I had a better reason, but just wanted a 226 in the stable aaaaand bought the Mk.25. Love how it fits my mitt and how it shoots. Buy what YOU like.... ta hell with us!! :)

I went MK25.

Does the MK25 come with 3 mags?

Yes.

Love the mk25, almost bought one my self. There is something special with the police surplus, lots out there. They have a bit more history. If you can find a West German, even better.

Does the MK25 come with 3 mags? Any "lefty's" out there care to comment?

I'm a lefty and have the MK25 and really like shooting it. Used it for my black badge and first few IPSC matches, have no complaints and would like to drop in the SRT though. This gun now has 3000 rounds through it with no issues. I think it's safe mate is getting jealous thou, (SP-01 that has had only 150 rounds fed to it)

Thanks good feedback. It's in my sights, :)

How's the holster situation with the Mk25?

There weren't that many available 2 years ago when I looked into buying one.

If you're looking for one that works with a light the pickings are slim.

I use the Blackhawk Omega VI. It's ambi and can be mounted in DL, belt, or MOLLE. Fits my MK25 with or without light quite well without having to adjust it.

Yes, the STR install is a very good idea...plus I replaced my grip screws with hex heads...cuz I am fancy!!

Solely Canadian has some excellent holsters for the MK.25 I got 2, the rough use Tek lock (no Light) and a concealment light mount (Inforce APL) with belt loops. I would put the quality of this right up with Raven, great service and they are made in Canada... cannot beat that!
