What are the owners using for holsters? I need something that I can use in IPSC... I have an IMI Defense SG1 - , but it is a one piece holster and cant really be fully secured to my belt...

Currently contemplating this other one from IMI with the belt loop attachment and then disabling(removing) the trigger retention device, but the contours seem different...:

Any other reasonably priced options out there ?

Thanks

I would check the DoubleAlpha PDR Pro Holsters they are a good fit for P226. I was thinking about getting the LDC as well, what is your impression on it? I had thought about getting the shadow 2, but really like the LDC.

Haven't shot it yet... Waiting on the registration papers to be mailed by RCMP. But I absolutely love the extra weight! I found my alloy frame 226 shot really nicely with 147gr so this should be even better. I'm not 100% I'm love with the sights though... Need to shoot it first and see if it's an issue or not.

I am using a DDA alpha X with a stardard 226 Block on mine .. I am really enjoying it

Where did you purchase this from?

I can now answer this properly... I shot mine for the first time this past weekend... At a match... The difference in accuracy was immediate to me, because I completed the match with the highest accuracy that I have ever had... The extra weight really helps with the recoil and the sights were spot on... Cant wait to get more practice rounds through it...

In the end I got a CR Speed WSM II and it works well... a little tight on the draw, but I'm sure that will smoothen out or Ill take some sand paper to it... Loving the holster overall tho

If you don't mind being without your gun for a while, send it to Tim at Solely Canadian and he can make one for you. That's what I did. Fits like a glove and superb quality.
