Hey Everyone,

Is it a bad idea to keep a Sig Stainless in a Polymer holster? Will it scuff the matte finish? I want a nice Galco leather holster but for now will a Polymer do? thanks

Also, how can I tell if my Sig was made in Germany? I've heard the stainless elite frames are still made in Germany but not sure if that's true. The only marking I can see is Exeter N.H U.S.A on the slide.

Been looking at it hard for the last 2 days and can't find any Quality issues. Amazing finish and heavy as hell.

Thanks Wolverine!

I keep my Elite in a Kydex holster from Solely Canadian. Before that it was in a Safariland holster (which is suede lined and sprayed with silicone). Never had an issue

Nothing beats the look of the rosewood sticking out of a Galco Combat Master in tan.

Absolutely agree. I think I may have to look at some walnut grips for my Bright white Girsan now. Love cold steel, with warm wood....; )

Surprised the Tech companies don't integrate more wood into their products. I think naturalized looking technologies would be very popular. Wood Framed Imac or flatscreen anyone?

Also, those Galco holsters really do a nice job of tucking up nice against the body at 4-5 o clock. Hard to conceal a big gun like that but it sure makes it feel comfortable. Wish I still had mine

And not to derail, as nice as the Galco leather is, I got a Model M-11 IWB from Troy at Brigade Gun Leather in Kansas, with a double mag pouch a couple years back....insane fit and finish, quality through and through, and comfortable like nobodies business. Worth a look, but the wait time is pretty long as he does all his stuff as ordered, custom. A quick google and look at his page, and you will see the quality of what he does. I don't get paid to shill for him, but it's just that good.
