P229R inbound!

So I ordered a SIG P229R 9x19mm from P&D and she should be here any time now! I need to get a holster and a mag carrier, oh and a few extra mags, but they'll not be here in time for the September 23rd IDPA match. I managed to snag a loaner holster (a generic, not fit specifically to the SIG) and I'll have two mags for competition, so that's 21 rounds per stage. I guess I'll have to make 'em count!

I should have a more mags for Provincials though! (the Holster will have to wait 'till next year...)

I've had one for a couple months now...great gun. Chris at P&D is evil - he makes you buy guys you didn't intend on buying!

Maple Leaf...you could also use P226 magazines...they stick out of the mag well a bit but they will get you by until the 229 mags start showing up.
