P320 Pro-Cut Slide assembly

Just took home a P320 Pro-Cut Slide today. Pictures don't really do it justice.

Looks like it's only available to fit a 9mm barrel.

Has anyone had a chance to shoot a P320 with one yet?

Sig was advertising them as the same weight as the regular slide which IMO defeats the purpose. I would like to see actually weight measurements done.

Also, what dot are these cut for?

Like you said, weight is the same, but balance is different.

Is it an appearance only mod? Seems like an awful lot of extra cost and machining to end up with a slide nearly the same weight if what is mentioned above is true...

I could see a benefit of a lighter slide for suppressor or optics options. Thinking on a p320 myself, but in .40, would like to try this grip though. anyone have any experience with the x grip?

Different metal then i guess. Otherwise you cant be missing that much material and still weight the same.
