P320 xcarry legion

Working on them now, yes we will see them. Really hoping for Fall. Once we know more we will post and thank you

It says it's compatible with a bunch of optics that all have different mounting patterns. Isn't it only really milled for the romeos?

Any optic will pretty much work with the various adapter plates that are sent with either the gun or the RDS.

It's notable that the Sig Romeo 1 (not the Romeo 1 Pro) will not fit on any Sig product.

That would be news to my 320 RXs. I think you may have mistaken what you saw. The Sig Romeo 1 does not fit Sig 320/M17 model as it has a different optics cut as per request from U.S. military contract.

From Sig.

"PLEASE NOTE:

The ROMEO1 is meant to mount directly to SIG 320RX pistols, as well as to many other popular pistols on the market, by utilizing our available Handgun Adapter Kits.

The optic cut on the P320-M17 guns are cut per the MHS contract, thus are not compatible with the ROMEO1 optic from SIG SAUER. New SIG Sauer Electro-Optics reflex sights which are compatible with all M17 pistol variations will be released in the second half of 2019."

Sig now offers the Pro Cut slide with a Leupold footprint. The version 2 is also cut for the Trijicon RMR. Between the two, it means those footprints now cover Sig, Holosun and Primary Arms. Not sure about Vortex, but I think they use the Leupold print as well, someone else may be able to chime in on that though.

We have the P320 XCARRY LEGION now on order now though MD Charlton. Really looking forward to these.

I stand corrected.

So, the conclusion, the Sig P320 RX is the ONLY handgun to which the Romeo1 can be mounted without the use of an adapter plate and dovetail interface.

I have a Romeo 1. Its a good RDS, and the dovetail interface works surprisingly well. Just not my first choice for mounting options.

No, the P320 X-Five also will take the Romeo 1 without an adapter plate. I have one mounted on my X-Five.

I think it's just SIG being SIG where they make changes that change parts compatibility but don't differentiate the product.

early vs later MCX, the long/short extractors on the p226's, the confusing mags on the p229

now enter the optics cut....I'll still probably get this tho.

Ok, again, I stand corrected. I have an X-Five Legion and the Romeo1 will not fit. And no adapter plate exists to make it fit.

The Romeo 1 Pro (same foot print as the Delta Point) fits the X5 Legion.

Yes, that's correct.

See, when I tried to mount the Romeo1 I believe even the thread pitch on the screws was different and they wouldn't thread into the X5 Legion.

Regardless, it now wears a DeltaPoint Pro.
