At a range trip a little while ago my p38 broke into pieces some of which hit me directly in the fore head fortunately I was fine and fortunately I was able to gather up all the pieces I was abel to get the pistol back together but the only problem being the last coil's broke on the firing pin spring that contained the loaded chamber indicator retainer, now I ask a favor of my fellow gun nutz does anyone know were I can get a p38 Firing pin/loaded chamber indicator retainer spring, and though I haven't shot it since and have no plans to you think it could be shot with out the loaded chamber indicator and the last link broke on the firing pin my gut says no so its just been collecting dust in my safe since the incident
