P38 takedown lever

So here goes having a walther p38 sent to me from my father belonged to my uncle not sure of year etc but will figure that out once I have it in hand. Story says it was a ww11 capture but we'll see lol

Anyways the takedown lever is missing the retainer spring and the small ball.

Where can one find these?

How are they installed? Can't seem to picture the install lol. I have had this handgun apart many times as a kid and even assembled once with my eyes closed. This part has always been missing and the handgun hasn't been fired in over 30 years.

Check with Trade Ex, they might have those parts. You put the spring then the detent in then the lever. You can use a smll screwdriver to depress the detent while you insert the lever.
