Haven't found any reviews. Only discovered it thanx to another muzzle device thread in this forum.

Going on a Rem 700 in .223 Rem with 16.5-inch bull barrel, threaded muzzle 5/8x24.

Yes, I know a .223 doesn't really need a muzzle device. We're also told nobody needs a gun.

Thanx for your replies.

You're not getting any responses because people don't generally put flash hiders on bolt guns, as it doesn't really provide any benefit to the system.

Thank you for enlightening me.

From what I've read on the interwebs (so it must be true) flash suppressors are more useful than muzzle brakes or recoil reducers for .223 shooters, that caliber having negligible recoil and muzzle rise.

Linear comps are supposed to be a better balance, because they send noise forward. That they also increase recoil is a side effect .223 shooters ought to be able to handle.

Again, this might all be nonsense. It's why I'm asking here.

depending on the size of the fireball you produce, it might be nice to have, although I doubt a 16in will be that flaming big.

I'd be more concerned with any effect it might have on group size. I "had" a pws brake on my 10T, increased group size vs no brake. Replaced it finally with an insite, much better results/groups.
Id be more likely to get a brake to reduce recoil to help follow the shot.
