Pac-Lite Mark II

Has anyone have any experience with the Tactical Solutions Pac-lite barrels on a Ruger Mark II pistol ?

I was looking at Wanstall's and thought that it might be an neat mod. All of the Internet searches love them but they mainly like them for the suppressor addition.

You-re better off getting one of the new MKIII pistols. The Pac-Lites are nice units, but they don't have terribly robust construction. Biggest issue with them is that the bolt is stopped by the aluminum breech face, and does not solidly impact on a steel surface. The Ruger variant have a very robust barrel, and the bolt fully contacts steel, thus no deformation to the receiver.
